crosswords vs sudoku puzzles

i love sudoku AND i love crosswords and variety puzzles by Dell and Penny Press. is there anyone near Austin willing to help me organize a Meetup like this - with particular interests in sudoku (sharing ways to do puzzles, etc).

If you find one let me know. I love them both. I would love to attend anything South Austin since I live in Lockhart. Gas prices are killing me!!!
